I have an iMac 2009 running Mavericks as well as a MacBook Pro and the device keeps ejecting for no apparent reason. It will not recognize my Western Digital "My Passport" drives even though they are formatted for Mac.

  • Darn good Hub

Contrary to the other two reviews on this site, I have not once experienced a single problem with this Hub. I purchased it last s Contrary to the other two reviews on this site, I have not once experienced a single problem with this Hub. I purchased it last summer to be able to hook up a MIDI controller, USB Interface, iLok key and Lacie Rugged to my laptop for recording without my full set-up. Not a single time did anything cut-out, drop out, disconnect, eject, etc which surprised me considering the amount of power I was drawing out of it. I can't speak for its inability to not charge devices since that's not what I use it for, but as a means to connect multiple USB devices to a laptop with limited ports this thing has proven invaluable. It gets 5 stars because it hasn't failed me once, looks good, and uses what appears to be an aluminum instead of plastic housing. Belkin products have always impressed me and this one is no different.

  • Doesn't charge devices.

Won't charge my iPad. Sometimes charges my iPhone. Both randomly say it's incompatible. An expensive piece of junk.
