The Inspire were better than any others I had owned for sports use, but they had a few issues, that have been solved with the Limited Edition (LE):

    - cord tangles: the LE cord is covered in fabric and just does not get tangled
    - cord hanging out the bottom of your shirt gets caught in other things (thumbs) while running: the LE has a clip up near the L/R split that allows you to clip it at the length you want to the neck of the shirt. Also helps solve another problem:
    - cord pulls down on ear buds, which can get annoying, but not with the LE
    - the control button on the LE is integrated into the right ear cord and it weighs nothing, so it doesn't bounce around like the standard model, meaning it doesn't tug on the ears, and it doesn't make any noise
    - the larger control unit on the standard version naturally rests on the top of your chest, so if you're in the gym lifting weights from your chest there is a tendency to accidentally hit the buttons... not a problem with the Limited Edition
    - the passive noise canceling earbuds are pretty good if you want isolation

Conclusion: spend the extra money and get the Limited Edition, they are a complete solution

  • not too bad.... but they stopped working

I've been using these a lot! training sometimes 2 times a day, 5 times a week for 3 months and they're actually really nice! sound I've been using these a lot! training sometimes 2 times a day, 5 times a week for 3 months and they're actually really nice! sound quality and it was able to put up with me sweating in the gym when other headphones would act up. one day as I was studying for finals,1 side of the headphones just stopped working... I haven't been running, lifting or anything that week because I was on a break and decided focus time into studying... but yea I think they're a solid investment but I probably just put it through its limits sweat wise. These are water resistance.... not water proof. They do come with a lifetime warranty so hopefully I get a new pair soon but yea just thought i'd let some people know!
