    Excellent quality

I can't fault the quality of these headphones, the overall build and sound quality is excellent
The only downfall to the headphones are being leather this can become uncomfortable on the ears after long periods of time but this is nothing major.
Overall a joy to use and well worth the price

The sound that comes from these headphones are pure class.... IF you enjoy acoustic sounds and gentle plays, If you like your base then you need to go further into Sennheiser or Bose, I don’t rate the Dre Solo's or Studio's, they are ok... I can name some £50 headphones that are just as good if not better. I am simply a sound hound and not a fashion victim. I agree they are comfy and look fantastic, but the Base is too much and drowns out everything else. If you know your headphones and truly appreciate your music like i do then you would look more into the Specs and not "who" is wearing them. I have the HD-25's and also numerous sets of AKG's, have been a DJ for years and honestly cant fault the Sennheiser range.

If you're considering an upgrade well worth a try.

I was told by my ear doctor not to wear in ear headphones as they kept giving ear infections so decided to test these. I wasn't that confident that they would be that good. I own a great pair of Grado headphones already but didn't fancy carrying a pre amp around with me everywhere!!!

Boy was I suprised. Sound fantastic on my stereo, sound very respectable without EQ, but remember no matter how good the headphones if you're going to use with iPod or iPhone as I do, that an MP3 will always sound like an MP3 don't expect the earth.

I'm a sound engineer at a well known recording studio so I do know sound, and these sound really good not 5 star but a genuinely honest 4 stars. You have to raise the cost 10 fold to get 5 star.

One more thing. Don't buy the dre headphones unless you're after a designer label, they're bass heavy flimsy toys and are not even in the same league as these cans.

Very very good, even wife thinks they're great and she knows everything!!!

Headphones are personal TRY before you BUY.

They'll handle anything you throw at them...

I've got a varied taste in music and they bring out the best in almost everything. They're sound very balanced so don't expect just pure bass, but don't get me wrong when the bass kicks in when necessary YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED. The comfort is deceptive though, initially yeah they feel great...but my biggist gripe with these phones is after an hour or so's use my ears feel pretty sore. Maybe it's just my head :( The customer service is second to none by the way. Called the manufacturer for a replacement cable and they shipped 1 out no questions asked.

How can I replace the cable? I have checked many sites, including apple, but I cannot seem to find a single place that sells a replacement wire!

    Nice Quality Cans

Have had now for 3 weeks and was dissapointed at the sound levels when using with an ipod not exactly like a concert, however they are great for the TV and PS3 where you can have a more amplified input. The build quality is sublime apart from the very delicate cable. I seen some reviews which stated you get a spare cable which isn't 100% correct as the iphone/ipod cable has 4 contacts on the plug whereas the "spare" has 3 contacts and has to be used for anything else bar an iphone/ipod. I have an ipod classic but the cable features don't work so it must be too old to be compatible.
I bought these as I wanted headphones to listen to the TV in bed and they are so comfortable to wear even for long periods but can cause pain if wearing spectacles. I have also had Bowers and Wilkins experience as I bought a Zeppelin almost 2 years ago and knowing what that was like swung it for me. The price is a sore point but I would say most of the cost has went into the chic materials and not the internals. For a first attempt at headphones I would say B & W have made a quality piece of equipment for the price being charged as headphones can cost thousands.
If you are looking for quality headphones you could do worse than buying these........

right first of all these headphones look and sound great appear to be comfortbale but for me after wearing them for more than an hour they became very uncomfortable! if you are thinking of buying a pair makesure you try them out first or youll be sending them back like i am now. if they are comfortable for you theyl be worth the money.

    Gorgeous design and great sound

Expensive but worth it. I'm new to B&W and have only owned these headphones for 3 days but I'm now a convert to their brand and a real advocate of the quality of the product. A significant improvement on the BOSE headphones that I've been using over the past 2 years.

    La Classe!

Great sound. Solid construction. Flex is lightweight and a tad thin (it's the single feature that has killed all my previous 'phones but it's detachable & replaceable. Nice!

Loving the magnetically attached and comfortable leather ear-pads.My head and ears usually get too hot but not with these. Volume control and mic for calls work well but are on the left hand side, getting used to that is a minor foible.

It comes with a decent carry pouch and stylish packaging. When you drop this much for a product it's reassuring to get a 2 year warranty. I'm looking forward to using these for a long time.
