    Dont buy for your console!

    • Written by from Tamworth

this is a great product, the tv viewing experience is flawless and easy to use, setup is a doddle, and the quality of the picture is mint.

    BUT

like many others i was more interested in playing my xbox on my imac. dont bother.
it wont support your 60Hz games (about half the titles)
and even then the latency is so large (about 1 second) it makes it impossible to play

buy if u want to watch tv, not for gaming. just get a tv/monitor its alot cheaper

    Not long lasting

EXACTLY the same experience as " L from Mississauga" after some 1 - 2 years it died. Until then it worked and behave as a dream but the poor long lasting quality makes me look elsewhere ----

    Great gadget but flawed

I've used this all over the world for a couple of years, very flexible, but a significant proportion of hybrids, including mine, are prone to failure if they get to cold, reporting that the USB is only a 1.1. Elgato don't mention this on their web site but you can find it on their forum. So far application of a little heat seems to be the fix.
