    Obvious flaw niggles

Having just purchased this item I feel it important to make potential buyers aware of its shortcomings.

It is undoubtedly a beautiful and well-made bag but thanks to all that protective padding inside can barely accommodate anything of much. The interior is an extremely snug fit – once a 15” MBP is in its compartment – it becomes a struggle to get anything else in – I tried with just a slim report and one magazine and both became a little mashed from trying to force them in. add a protective skin to your mac and you can forget it – it wont even fit anymore without a real struggle.

The biggest draw back as a result of this is that of course, there is absolutely no way to be able to carry the wall charger for the Mac with it in the same bag so, beautiful as it is – I will only be able to use for select times such as presentations – not day to day use. Hence the markdown on its rating.

    Excellence all around

First of all - I was very impressed with the service I received from the Apple online store. I ordered this bag on Monday morning, and it arrive the following day before 10 am! I actually got it in less than 24 hours from order, so a big thank you to all the staff that made it possible (including UPS)!

Second - a few words about the case itself. I was torn between the black and the brown, as they both look fantastic. In the end I went for the black case, because I fell in love with the green lining (odd, I know) and because black goes with everything.

The case feels very well made, the leather (which is on the flap only) and the lining both feel very soft. The case has ample room for a charger, phone etc while having quite compact dimensions. In short - you get a lot of storage in a very small and neat package! Price is a little steep at £99, considering the limited amount of leather used. I feel a more realistic price for what you get will be around £70-£80, but I still love mine.

I am yet to see how it will withstand the test of international travel, but first impressions are excellent!

    Brilliant

I bought this bag predominantly as a small flight bag that would comfortably house my 15" MBP Unibody; I don't carry much when I fly, but there's enough room in here for the laptop, power supply, travel docs, my Sennheiser earphones (in the case), magic mouse, toothbrush/paste - and my Canon 400D SLR with the standard lens.

Excellent build quality, two year guarantee and a free registration scheme that will get your bag returned to you if you lose it (assuming the person who finds it isn't a thief!). What more could you want?

    Excellent for 15" MBP

I was looking for a bag to hold my unibody 15" MBP for a couple of weeks without luck. I stumbled across the Knomo website before seeing them on the Apple site... then the other day I saw this bag in the flesh at my local Apple store and intantly knew it was the bag for me.

It's the perfect size for those that do not want to carry much more than the computer around, with just enough space for some magazines etc in the main compartment, the charger in the secondary front pocket and I have my Magic Mouse in the third zip pocket. There is also a hidden handle that you can pull out from the back.

There are a couple of points I should mention...the main compartment is split in two, with a smaller section for the laptop and then a slightly larger section for magazines etc, however with my MBP in it's sleeve, it was slightly too tight a fit for the designated laptop section of the main area so I put it in the slightly larger partition.

Also the bag is only just taller than the 15" MBP so the machine isn't burried deep inside the bag (but I like that).

And my final point is that when you close the flap over, there is a gap at the sides where the flap folds over at the top of the bag, so if it was raining there is a chance water could get in to the main compartment. It would have been nice if the main compartment could be zipped shut. However half the bags I looked at were like this and the ones with zipped main compartments I didn't like the style of.

Overall though, I love this bag. Materials and construction are fantastic and it looks really nice...hopefully even more so when the brown leather flap gets worn in a little. Would I buy it again? absolutely. Would I recommend it? Completely!

    Exquisite!

I have to say that this is the nicest computer bag I have owned - I bought it online and was genuinely surprised by the quality of materials and construction. I purchased the brown & blue model which looks great; it doesn't look like a computer bag and I've had many comments on how stylish it is.

It does have its downsides, however. The 'portrait' aspect does make looking for stuff more awkward than its 'landscape' relatives and the space inside is best described as compact. If you like to carry copious amounts of stuff around this isn't the bag for you.

For me it's perfect: it houses my MacBook Pro beautifully with room for the power supply, an iPhone, Mighty Mouse and a few other bits and pieces without struggling. There's room for some additional paperwork too.

Overall it exceeded my expectation and I think it is well worth the money. Enjoy!

    Excellent Quality!

Easily the best laptop bag that I have owned, the quality of the design and the manufacture is brilliant. Having used this bag every day for nearly 5 months I can assure you that it is worth every penny - it still looks brand new just like the day it was delivered. Works just as well holding my Dell XPSM1330 13" laptop as it does a 15" Macbook Pro. Even has room for my Dell Mini 9 as well as the main laptop. Not cheap, but worth the money, invest in protecting your laptop.

    Gorgeous!

This is a really lovely bag. Well made and stylish - it does not look like a regular lap top bag (whew!). It has plenty of pockets in different sizes - 3 large, 4 small (for the likes of iPods phones etc), and one middle sized on the exterior of the bad with a zip. 15" mac book pro fits perfectly. The flap has magnets to keep it secure. I am very happy with it and I am sure anybody who buys one will be happy too.
