This has to be one of the most absorbing RPG games i have ever played.

A pretty decent game with good graphics and story line. In many ways better than NWN1 although not as good Hordes of the Underdark (graphics aside). However full enjoyment is completely frustrated by diabolical camera operation!

As a follower of the Baldurs Gate Games and NeverWinter Nights, I was excited that this game had come across to the Mac Platform. Though the graphics are stunning the games performance is poor. It seems that this game has been rushed out without any really testing having been conducted. Let me explain further.......
When setting up a new campaign, fun can be had in creating your Character, however once this is done both the tutorial and main game will crash whilst loading between scenes (constant reoccurring issue), this also applies to travelling between areas on the world map. The NW2 forum has a large crowd of people who are also suffering from this. Atari are due to release a patch for the game to make it playable - but until then I would hold off, as you will only become frustrated.
If this game did not have this major flaw then I would give it 5 stars, as the PC version is excellent. However at the minute it scores 1 as it is unplayable until it is supported.1 of 2 people found this useful
