These have to be the most comfotable pair of over ear headphones I have owned , the sound is crisp and clear even when combined with the deep bass line , all genres of music sound fantastic with these headphones from Metallica to Usher to Michael Jackson , comes with a nice hard case , 2 cables one with a remote and mic and the other primarily for DJ use . At first I was unsure because of the price however now I am totally sold on them . Highly recommended !!

    Absolutely amazing

At first I was sceptical about the design of these headphones thinking they would not be robust... I was so wrong. I also own beats studios the original set. The studios sound quality I'm my opinion does not match the sound quality of the mixr's. The mixr's do not require batteries for sound cancelling which is a bonus. The sound cancelling is not needed in these headphones they are crazy loud I had to have my beats studios on 3/4 volume to enjoy my music but the mixr's I can enjoy my music on 1/4 volume - the hearing damage. Comes with very sturdy travel case so pleased with these headphones. Yet more amazing spud quality from beats. Highly recommended. BUY THEM NOW

    Bass, Volume and Clarity. Perfect.

    • Written by from Falkirk

I'm no Audiophile but spent months researching what would be best. My music taste is largely Urban, Hiphop and RnB and these were perfect. Powerful Bass, but with fantastic clarity. Also these have an extra bit of volume to them compared to the likes of the Solo 2s (something to bear in mind with all products like iPod/iPad and phones etc having the new EU Volume limitation). They were, as many reviews have said, a tight fitting, but something that only becomes a nuisance after 90 mins of use. And as they are new, they will slowly adjust over time. Also, this ensures there is no movement or slip when on my head. A fantastic headset that I chose over other headsets such as the Bose QC25s due to the bass and volume. The top volume of other (higher end) brands was just not quite loud enough.

Lastly, don't be put off because they are Beats. Many people refuse to buy Beats because of the brand as many see it as a fashion statement, and ignore the actual sound quality. If you like the audio of the Beats, then get them. I couldn't be happier and have even surprised my 54 year old dad with how good they are. He now wants a pair!

    The right choice

Great cans, unsure why dre sell the pro's. These Mixr cans are the mutts, tight bass mid range control and depth vocal clarity. I'm just into my tunes don't pretend have any authority but try ur fav tune through these ffs!!!! Class. From boogie piano rif - to dire straits bridge in telegraph road all the way to garage old skool these haven't dropped it. I found using iPod classic best results with EQ off. Don't be put off by negative reviews and if like me it's a toss up between these n pro's, save the 130 notes
