Reviews for iPad Smart Cover - Leather - Cream

I bought this in cream and it got wet and left large water marks but I rewet it and pressed it with white paper towel, all the marks disappeared. Then got some food stains on it at a party and I washed it off with water then did the pressing with paper towel until dryish to avoid water marks, and guess what all the marks came out. I also used a piece of sticky tape to remove fine lint stuck to it that I couldn't lift with my finger nail. I realised that helped to revitalise the nap of the leather as well, so all in all, like anything else, yes it gets dirty but it's really easy to clean. You do have to look after it. I cover it with an ipad sock before sliding it in my bag. The cream cover looks great with the white ipad. Just get a speck smartshell to go with it.

My wife brought me an iPad 2 for my birthday along with a nice cream leather cover, the iPad is the dogs alas the same can't be said for the cover, I grant you it's good in as much as it powers down the iPad when you close the cover, but boy it gets sooooo dirty so fast, I have had mine since last August, and to be honest its fit for the bin, I would die of embarrassment should I need to take it out of the house. Do your self a favour DO NOT BUY CREAM! if I do get another leather cover it will be BLACK

I read the other reviews and thought that my case wouldn't get marks on it that quick seeing as I wouldn't be using it that often. Wrong! I took it out of the box and even though I had only cleaned my hands about 5 minutes before there was a smudge on the cover within 3 mins. 10 minutes later it was back in it's box waiting to be returned.

I have ordered a light grey Polyurethane one instead, one that I can clean without getting that sinking feeling you get when you realise you just ruined something that cost you £59

I'm so disappointed with this product.
I don't think its the colour but more the choice of leather.
I've had light grey leather seats in my car and 4 kids, 3 years on and they still look like new. This iPad smart cover, three weeks on and it looks like i've eaten my dinner off it.
I'm not a messy, untidy person, this thing just attracts dirt and grease. And what ever you do don't try and clean it off. Tried to take it back and they looked at me like they feared they may catch something off the cover.
