Reviews for Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit

This kit works fine for me. 2gb SD card reads beautifully from SD adapter. Connecting my Nikon D700 direct into the USB adapter also works. Using my USB card reader a 1gb CF card worked fine but an 8gb one exceeded the power requirement. So 4 stars not 5 but still very good bit of kit and arguably easier to carry the camera's USB cable than a card reader.

I thought that this was an amazing product that worked on all my cameras. I was a bit cautious to buy it after reading so many negative reviews but went ahead with it anyway and am absolutely delighted with it.

Excellent product, worked straight out of the box. Plugged SD card into adaptor & adaptor Into iPad & downloaded no hassle or problems. Also tried camera adaptor with the U.S.B. Cable saw the camera straight away.

I was almost put off buying this connector, as I have an Olympus U tough, and previous reviewer says it does not work with this camera. Well mine arrived yesterday, and it does work with my camera!
Also transferred video clips from iPhone 4, to iPad, with great results.
Worth the money.

Bought this a few months ago to input photos from an SD card and it does exactly what it's suppose to. Maybe a little expensive but was very impressed that I bought something that was easy to use and worked straight away.

Was put off a bit by some of the negative reviews of this product on here, however decided to give it a go on the grounds that if it did not work it could live with some of the other useless stuff I have bought over the years in the junk drawer.

CCK arrived today pluged my fujifilm hs20exr in and off it went, worked a treat, tried the cannon eos next again worked like it should after that I tried a small Samsung compact flawless import.

A very useful addition to my iPad accessories, well done Apple.

Purchased the card reader 1week ago worked fine first time,very impressed but second time I tried it,it wouldn't work,read reviews about all the problems people were having so thought I had bought a useless piece of rubbish.Took it back to HMV(who were very helpful)and tried about 10 more card readers all of which didn't work.Then took iPad to John Lewis where it was purchased from, they tested card reader on demo unit which worked fine so they diagnosed a faulty iPad.They swapped my iPad for a new one and hey presto everything works a treat!

I actually purchased this item to plug in a usb piano keyboard to access the music apps on my ipad. It has actually exceeded my expectations and further improved my ipad experience

This is useless when I plug my camera connection kit all I get is "This Accessory is Not Supported by iPad" a waste of money

Sorry but this is not very good value. OK the USB adapter works fine and it does support a multicard reader, but as for the Apple card reader very limited use, far to few card choices, so this makes this kit expensive. Perhaps you could increase the range of cards that it can read. For people like myself with more than one make/type of camera, need the range to choose from. Try harder next time. iPad seems to be brilliant.
