Works 100% with Sandisk 2GB Memory Card & Canon PowerShot A1200 Camera

Just bought this from Apple Store in Regent Street, London. It did not work with a Micro SD Adaptor with 2GB of Micro SD Memory inside it, but this could of been the adaptor itself as it was quite old.

I tried my Canon PowerShot A1200 digital camera's 2GB Memory Card in the Memory Kit and it worked straight away, as did my camera when I plugged it directly into the USB Kit. So overall I am satisfied, hence the 5 Star rating.

This product is really good it lets me chose which photos i want on my ipad and I find the best way to do it is to take out the SD card and use that. The picture quality is awesome ever so clear and it only takes 2 seconds to complete one picture and the instructions are well organist and easily understandable but it is very straight forward anyway. I am very pleased with this camera connection kit and is well worth the money. !!

I use this to hook my iPad with Retina Display to my Behringer Mixer using the Lightning to 30-pin adapter (cordless) and Behringer UCA222. Also works great with cameras but my old Sony Bloggie is not supported (uses too much power). Apple please help!

    It arrived
    I opened the packing
I switched on my Lumix G
I switched on my iPad 2
I plugged in the USB cable into the camera
I plugged the adapter into the iPad
I plugged the cable into the adapter
Software started and opened an import page showing me all the photos.
You could pick to delete or import either single shots or all of them
SD card adapter was just as simple. What more do you want????

Camera connection kit and Flip video

Using ipad 3 the camera connection kit works great with the Flip mino hd 3rd gen video camera. Just plug it in and all the files upload direct from the camera. I also use iMovie. The price is a bit steep at £25.00 but then it's an Apple!

Just got one of these and using with Sony dsc-hx5. Initially got the error USB requires too much power. However a tip on another forum suggested looking at camera settings and turning the USB power function off. Found it under memory card settings turned it off and hey presto works a treat. Worth checking your camera settings if you get this error

I bought this product with my ipad 3. What I wanted to do was load RAW files on the ipad from my Canon 7D which only uses compact flash cards. I was a bit concerned about the CCK from other reviews. I spoke to a sales assistant in the Regent Street Apple store and he assured me it would work. I tried with the camera direct to ipad, perfect. Then I tried with my multi-chip card reader , that did not work as the ipad did not have enough power to run it. I ordered a single chip card reader from eBay, perfect again. The largest compact flash card I use is 8GB so I can't be sure if larger ones will work,

I was on holiday and completely frustrated by the fact that all my pics were on my camera and I wasn't able to see them on the HD screen of my new shiny iPad. After buying this simple and affordable kit I'm totally amazed by how easy it is to import the pictures from my phone. Just plug it in and go.

Note: you can only import newly taken pics in the original camera format. It doesn't work if you copy pictures to an SD card and try to import them.

Superb, connected my Sony NEX-5 and it displayed all my photos, asking which ones to import. With iPhoto on the iPad as well, am constructing some fabulous journals of our French holiday!

    Camera Connection Kit

Bought this with a few doubts, having read some of the negative reviews, but for what it's worth to anyone thinking of this, I have had no problems whatsoever. With an iPad2, the SD card reader instantly read and uploaded RAW files from a Canon S95 and a Panasonic Lumix G1, and the USB connector again flawlessly connected to a Nikon D200 and uploaded RAW + JPEG files. Absolutely invaluable for instant checking of files on a shoot or backup on holiday etc. Can do the same with a laptop I suppose, but the iPad is so much lighter and instantly available, perfect for showing shot previews to a client out in the field!

I do a lot of photography but don't want to lug around my laptop all the time. This kit with my iPad does a superb job. I am able to use the USB cable with my DSLR and instantly download my images. Also, if I use my compact, I can just whip out the SD card and plug it in... So simple..! Highly recommended..!

I was a little wary of this product because of some of the negative reviews however it works perfectly, my camera is a Canon EOS60D and it works with the card reader and the cable, imports photos in RAW & JPEG format quickly and will import and play HD video shot with the camera, my iPad is a 64gb 3rd gen and I'm really happy with my purchase.

I have a 3rd gen iPad 16gb, my camera is canon600D, the camera connection kit is great and allows me to upload 18meg pics in no time at all, using cable or the sd slot, I don't understand why people are having problems and it clearly states that you cannot upload video from an external source to the iPad , really good bit of kit 5 stars
