Reviews for Apple Wireless Keyboard - International English

If Apple could make a wireless keyboard with the number keypad, then this would be perfect. Until that time, using software such as Logic Studio or Final Cut, you are hampered by the lack of extra keys if you wish to use Screen sets and pressing play/record etc.
I have to use a wired keyboard consequently, so the advantages of wireless, such as being able to control Logic from across a studio room are lost. Shame because it is such a lovely design.

great for typing on, cant fault it at all, its comfortable generally responsive and is excellent for typing essays with, only problems I've had is the upper case kay seems to lag behind from the rest, wether this is just my keyboard i don't know but it can be very annoying when writing for long periods of time, second problem, on/off button, not a fan, i know its supposed to be flush and look great. and to be fair it does, but i don't want to spend five minutes making sure my keyboard is off, a simple slider switch like is on the mouse would have done the job just fine.

The Apple Wireless Keyboard paired seamlessly to my iPad and iMac. As a touch-typist with quite large hands, I was concerned regarding some other reviews. But my fingers absolutely fly across the Apple Wireless Keyboard with the minimum of wrong-keys hit/typos etc. It's definitely the best keyboard I've used and, no, I do not work for Apple. In fact, I'm a very recent PC to Apple convert. Okay, it's pricey but worth it. And there's no denying how fantastic it looks on your desk, or if you decide to do a little writing when out and about - it's great for posing! Love it, love it, love it.

the keyboeard is great! its really compact which comes in handy when i have essessments in school. overall i just love it!

This keyboard arrived with my iMac. It's compact size allows it to be used all over my room with no problems about space. The smaller size takes some getting used to but once you do its a brilliant factor in it's design. The aluminium unibody is impressive as you would expect from apple. The reason I rated it down is my caps lock key doesn't always work properly (probably just an individual fault) and the lack of keys like home, page up, end etc. The lack of a num pad doesn't bother me although for some people, that may be an important factor. Overall I love this keyboard and find it incredibly convenient.

The keyboard is great for touch type and it even works with Bluetooth enabled windows computers automatically.

Zero stars for this keyboard. It's fun as a toy – 'look, no wires Oooh! - but does not stay connected, even when used within 30cms of the computer, and when all likely causes of interference are removed. And when it re-connects, the gadget runs amok and will often write a string of repeated letters, or worse, run backwards and delete chunks of text.

For professional users and for rapid touch typists, it's hopelessly slow and frustrating to use. I would not recommend it to anyone and particularly not to anyone who uses a keyboard for more than a couple of minutes at a time.

Apple should produce a wireless keyboard which is full sized, ergonomically comfortable and which works reliably. This current product is not one I'd recommend to anyone.

The wireless mouse, though slow, is a little better.

This keyboard is not just wonderful to use but beautiful and aesthetically pleasing too. To sit with it on my knee, when needed, is a boon and a facility much enjoyed. With the companion mouse my desk is clean and minimalist. They are a combination I have long waited for, and which has now been fulfilled. Strongly recommended.

A great keyboard - especially if you are already used to a MacBook, and of course it makes it very easy to switch between a Macbook and Pro or iMac, since the key layouts are identical.

In addition, it's compact size frees up space on your desk, has no wire clutter (obviously) and can be used away from the screen, making it nice and flexible. Battery life is excellent, too.

BUT there is one big flaw. Like all the current crop of Apple Bluetooth devices (Magic Mouse and Magic TrackPad) it goes slightly mad during wireless backups to a Time Capsule, occasionally repeating keystrokes in particular (as if a key had got stuck).

Otherwise, I'd have rated this 10/10.

Come on Apple, sort this silly interference issue out! Please!
