    Well . .

To be honest its good being able to move and have it in your lap but it runs out of battery way too quickly and i would rather have the old keyboard. I put batteries in the key pad and mouse about once a month.

    iPhone 4 connectivity

    • Written by from Coventry

I haven't seen this option officially listed but this keyboard works with iPhone 4, makes SMS and email much easier for those of blessed with short fat fingers. Pairs through bluetooth in the same way as a headset or remote speaker. Top!

excellent keyboard. best value for money available!

    • Written by from worcester

As i said in the title, this keyboard is excellent value for money - it's bluetooth, it's got island/chiclet style keys, very small footprint (Good riddance Num-Pad!!), battery lasts around 4 months from my use.. and it even works flawlessly with my iPhone 3GS with shortcuts like Cmd+C/V working as Copy and Paste! All for only £51.70!! I would recommend this keyboard to literally anyone! :)

    Stylish and very functional.

    • Written by from Helensburgh

Excellent little keyboard. Been looking for a nice, compact sized keyboard to use with my Macbook for a long time, as I also use my Macbook through a secondary screen, 32" tv, and needed something that would sit nicely on my lap, without being too over sized, and this does the job perfectly. I have no idea what a previous reviewer has against this product. I think it's great. And to say there is no delete button! Er, what is the button in the top right corner, below the eject button? Oh! It's the delete button!

Ok, Apple I do have to admit, you have to reduce the cost, as £56 is a bit steep for a keyboard, and for that you lose a star! I was in two minds to buy it because of that.

    Close to perfect!

    • Written by from Loughborough

Unlike what some have said regarding this product, it is VERY productive. There is a slight learning curve if you're used to standard plastic mold keyboards, but once you get the hang of it, it is fantastic! I got mine as standard with my iMac last month and it is, hands down, the best keyboard I have ever used in my life so far. The design is incredible, attractive, space saving, but most of all different. If you're new to Apple computers I doubt you will have used a keyboard like this before, especially out of a laptop.

Give yourself a month or so to get used to it, you'll need it. After that i'm sure you'll love it. However, if you're a person who doesn't take to change very well then i'd stay clear of it.

Compact, clutter-free but handicapped during wireless back-ups

    • Written by from Brighton

A great keyboard - especially if you are already used to a MacBook, and of course it makes it very easy to switch between a Macbook and Pro or iMac, since the key layouts are identical.

In addition, it's compact size frees up space on your desk, has no wire clutter (obviously) and can be used away from the screen, making it nice and flexible. Battery life is excellent, too.

BUT there is one big flaw. Like all the current crop of Apple Bluetooth devices (Magic Mouse and Magic TrackPad) it goes slightly mad during wireless backups to a Time Capsule, occasionally repeating keystrokes in particular (as if a key had got stuck).

Otherwise, I'd have rated this 10/10.

Come on Apple, sort this silly interference issue out! Please!

    Totally Cool!

Got delivery of the keyboard not half an hour ago and had it up an running in less than a minute. I am using it attached to my 65Gb iPod Touch running iOS4. Works like a dream. I know some people don't like the size of it but for me with my small hands it is perfect.

    Beware the critics

    • Written by from MORETON-IN-MARSH

Clearly one or two people do not like this keyboard and that is their right and privilege. I have two of them and am about to buy a third. Why?

I have been working with them for two years now and yes it took a bit of time to get used to the compact nature of the keyboard, and yes I therefore made lots of typos in the early days.

What I appreciate is the speed of response, the very good tactile feel, the fact that it does not dominate my desk and even the fact that it is very easy to keep clean. Is it worth twice as much as the wired alternative (which is just as good to use)? Well that depends on how much you like wired over wireless and the need to buy batteries or not.

In my humble opinion this is one of the most pleasant keyboards that I have used in a 30 year "keyboard career" and in the bad old "PC days" I used to spend small fortunes on keyboards.

If you want lots of pretty function buttons that you will never use but like to think might be useful some day, this is NOT the keyboard for you.

    Perfect for iPad

Just bought this to go with the iPad. Perfect for a lazy approach to typing (iPad in sleeve on coffee table, keyboard on lap on the sofa). Well made and stylish, I'd like to see a travel case for it.

    I love this keyboard

    • Written by from Milton Keynes

It's just perfect for me - key size and spacing, length of travel, tactile feedback - it's all bang on. My only minor gripe is the lack of a keypad (thus 4* not 5), but I don't really miss it much.

I'm not a touch typist, and it might be that someone who is would struggle, but I have nothing but praise for it.

Great Little Keyboard, Perfect For Some But Not For Others.

    • Written by from Newport

I see alot of people are saying some negative things about this keyboard. Personally I think it is amazing, the keys feel great to type using and are much quieter than the old clickety clack style plastic keyboards, solid build quality and the battery life is pretty good too. Your desk will never have looked as tidy as this!

I will say, however, that it is unlikely to have been intended for serious office tasks and the likes, but then how many wireless keyboards could you say truly were?

So as a warning to those who might be considering this keyboard for extended use for work/office tasks, maybe this keyboard isn't for you. That isn't to say that you can't get your work done with it, it's just that your workflow may differ to what you are accustomed to.

And to those who are complaining about this keyboard as part of a bundle, may I say this: If you had taken the time to look with more depth into the equipment that you were buying you have clearly seen the obvious omission of the supplementary keys and could have assessed your needs at that point.

Apple give you a choice to configure with a wired version with the more classic key arrangement at zero extra cost when buying the iMac.

    Why not Black??

    • Written by from Vejstrup

I LOVE IT! i just recived my Imac And ordered the wireless keyboard and the magic mouse with it...... and i love using it it feels nice and now that i´m getting use to the magic mouse its the best i have ewer tried.

BUT.... my Imac is Black!! Why don´t the magic mouse come in black and the keyboard should be with black buttons!

i´m just sad that its a mismatch.

that "only" the look...... i love it still!!

    Very good, but not perfect.

    • Written by from Oxford

The reason I purchased this keyboard is that I use my MacBook Pro keyboard so often that I eventually became used to the layout and chiclet keyboard and had a difficult time adjusting whenever I sat down to use my stationary keyboard.

The design is great and it is sturdy and compact and I love how it can be put away in a drawer with ease whenever I want to free up space on my desk for books or papers. I have to complaints in terms of the design: (1) white keys get dirty and uglier more easily than do black keys--the keyboard should be offered in both colors; and (2) while I knew that I was getting a laptop keyboard mounted in a desktop casing, I can't help but miss having dedicated home, end and delete buttons.
