In a whole, this is another quality product from Apple. Like all Apple products, the keyboard is very easy to set up and comfortable to use.

However, the only bad thing I have to say about the keyboard is that the quality of the plastic for the keys aren't as good as the keys on the MacBooks so it would have been nice for them to use the same sort of plastic but, they are still good quality none the less.

This is my first mac and I thought the keyboard an unneccessary luxury. I had my old third party wireless pc keyboard mouse combo. which was allegedly mac compatible. This took me about half a hour to get working. Apart from the keys being in the "wrong place" it worked ok. I have received both the mac own wireless keyboard and mouse today. It took seconds to set up! My only gripe is that the @ key is still in U.S. format. I will have to get to used it. I wish I bought this with the mac it is ergonomically better, takes up less space and is totally compatible.

I bought an iMac a week ago from a local shop in Spain. Naturally I am not yet entirely familiar with the spanish keyboard. The lack of a delete key is a disappointment and even my spanish friends couldn't help. However on this site I found the fn + backspace solution. I am accustomed to shortcut keys on my british PC and I don't anticipate much difficulty in learning Spanish shortcuts.

I was surprised that some commentators complained about difficulties in touch-typing due to the "small" size of the keys. I have been touch-typing for around 30 years and have no problems with this keyboard, except that the UK semi-colon key has moved and been replaced by the ñ - I assume that must be normal on a spanish keyboard. The keys are in fact very close to standard size. I measured with a ruler the distance from the left-hand edge of A to the right-hand edge of L; the result - 167 mm. I then measured the same span on my PC; result - 167 mm. Vertical measurements from upper edge of T to lower edge of V were 52 mm on both keyboards. Interestingly, the individual letter and number keys on the iMac are 15 mm square. On my PC these keys are 13 mm square. That suggests to me the the Apple keys are in fact larger than the PC keys!

For those who think their "big" fingers won't fit on the iMac Wireless Keyboard I'd say - use a ruler and measure the key size and layout yourself.

I do like the compact overall size, the appearance, and the feel of the keyboard. If you must have a numeric pad then this keyboard is not for you but for general use it's fine.

... I left batteries in it for a few weeks and they corroded. The aluminium body corroded with it and now I cannot remove the last battery. In my keyboard there are 4 (four) AA batteries (not the two stated in the current listing) and I can't get at the last one to remove it. It's corroded in.

So buy one -- but remove the batteries when not in use.

If Apple could make a wireless keyboard with the number keypad, then this would be perfect. Until that time, using software such as Logic Studio or Final Cut, you are hampered by the lack of extra keys if you wish to use Screen sets and pressing play/record etc.
I have to use a wired keyboard consequently, so the advantages of wireless, such as being able to control Logic from across a studio room are lost. Shame because it is such a lovely design.

Although I am generally very happy with this keyboard (though I would prefer it if it had the additional numeric keypad as my wired one does), what is driving me mad is the £ key!

Although you can use the shift key with any of the other number keys to get the symbol above the number; with the 3 key you have to use the Alt key to the get the £ symbol above. Using the shift key gives you a #. I rang Apple and they said "that's just the way it is".

It's completely counter-intuitive to have to use the Alt key for this one key. Apple - PLEASE TAKE NOTE AND CHANGE THIS!

Excellent little keyboard. Been looking for a nice, compact sized keyboard to use with my Macbook for a long time, as I also use my Macbook through a secondary screen, 32" tv, and needed something that would sit nicely on my lap, without being too over sized, and this does the job perfectly. I have no idea what a previous reviewer has against this product. I think it's great. And to say there is no delete button! Er, what is the button in the top right corner, below the eject button? Oh! It's the delete button!

Ok, Apple I do have to admit, you have to reduce the cost, as £56 is a bit steep for a keyboard, and for that you lose a star! I was in two minds to buy it because of that.

It's just perfect for me - key size and spacing, length of travel, tactile feedback - it's all bang on. My only minor gripe is the lack of a keypad (thus 4* not 5), but I don't really miss it much.

I'm not a touch typist, and it might be that someone who is would struggle, but I have nothing but praise for it.

The reason I purchased this keyboard is that I use my MacBook Pro keyboard so often that I eventually became used to the layout and chiclet keyboard and had a difficult time adjusting whenever I sat down to use my stationary keyboard.

The design is great and it is sturdy and compact and I love how it can be put away in a drawer with ease whenever I want to free up space on my desk for books or papers. I have to complaints in terms of the design: (1) white keys get dirty and uglier more easily than do black keys--the keyboard should be offered in both colors; and (2) while I knew that I was getting a laptop keyboard mounted in a desktop casing, I can't help but miss having dedicated home, end and delete buttons.

I really like this keyboard. The action is positive, it has a fantastically small footprint but remains large enough to use easily.
How about bringing out the same but with a numeric keypad as I use the numeric keypad a lot at work?
