This is a great keyboard for the mac. It takes up hardly any room on the desk at all, both when in use and not. It connects easily within a couple of minutes and after that it works like a charm, as expected!

This is definitely a necessity for anyone who wants to have 100% functionality with little fuss.

this is an amazing piece of tech, from how thin it is to it's bluetooth capability. It has everything that i want of it and more for example it has a panal of functions at the top (brightness, launchpad, mission control, play, forward, rewind and volume controls)
Amazing and would highly recommend it to anyone

I use this computer for my new Windows 7 Home Theatre PC. Its absolutely great. It is small and sleek enough to be left out without being an eyesore and yet still usable without a desk. Looks brilliant and as with all my other mac stuff works without fault.

I use this keyboard with my MBP, when it's connected to an extra monitor, and it works like a charm.

I can wake my MBP from sleep pressing a key on this keyboard, instead of having to use the one on the MBP. It's also the same size as the build in one, which means that there's no time wasted getting used to either keyboard, when switching between them.

I've had one of these keyboards for 9 months now. I have no criticisms whatsoever. Its been perfect. The battery life is great. The wireless is spectacular. In my opinion this is a must buy product. Love it.

Makes no sense at all if you ask me.

5 stars for this product tho.

I used to get bad RSI - but all gone now - short throw keyboards are the way forward.

Having fallen in love with a very old Viglen PC keyboard years ago, I have been in constant search of the ultimate small footprint keyboard that does everything I need it to do and lets me work quickly and by touch since then. This is it, and it's wireless to boot. An awesome addition in my opinion to the Mac machine.

Ok, it takes a while to get used to pressing fn+backspace for delete, but other than that, it's worth investing the time in getting used to it. At least there is a key combination for it and they didn't just strike it from the keyboard completely ! !

Batteries last around a month, the machine warns me when the batteries are on the way out, so all good.

I cannot recommend this enough! If you want a small keyboard that looks pretty, works well and can survive regular abuse, this is the kiddy for you.

I received the new keyboard and magic mouse with my replacement iMac. I think the keyboard is 100% better than any previous Apple keyboard. Great feel to it, fairly quiet and a much better size. Well done Apple!!

This keyboard is expensive, but it's bluetooth and as small as you can make a keyboard before it becomes uncomfortable. The batteries last for ages, I got one to compliment my MacBook Pro with the mStand and I have to say the combination of those along with a magic mouse is absolutely killer.

You must understand that any piece of technology should be treated with respect, if you have children or pets then you should try and make sure they don't get near your hardware unless you want it to be broken a lot quicker than it should be.

A keyboard is for typing on, that's it. Don't use it as a baseball bat because it will break.

Got delivery of the keyboard not half an hour ago and had it up an running in less than a minute. I am using it attached to my 65Gb iPod Touch running iOS4. Works like a dream. I know some people don't like the size of it but for me with my small hands it is perfect.

Apple's Aluminum Wireless Keyboard 2009 Model Impressions Review

Its gorgeous design is perfect for my tastes and me think the keyboard's ergonomically satisfactory too. Me have smallish hands. Wireless and super fast means me can use it with my MacBook Pro or any iOS device at any distance which is truly awesome. It's feedback from the keys is probably just right.

As far as improvements go, perhaps Apple could experiment with even quieter typing and softer keys? Of course everyone's tastes are different and we want a nice balance in features (or different versions of the keyboard). A backlit keyboard would be nice if possible. Also the price could be lower - somewhere in the range of £45 delivered would be good enough. Specials thanks for the Russian keyboard. Would ideally like that to be delivered quicker than "3-4 weeks"...

As far as technicalities go, there is what appears to be a small fault (software?) that many people experience with their caps lock key that fails to light up at times. Switching your device off and on generally solves this. Also, both; trackpad and keyboard make noise as they vibrate from clicking / typing. The battery in the battery compartment moves and it's unpleasant. That is easily countered with a peace of paper inserted into the compartment along with the battery. Lastly, many people seem to experience the same issue when the keyboard suddenly stops working after a year or so of use. All seem to fix this easily with some foil inserted into the battery compartment which leads to a conclusion that after a while an issue with the connection develops. Of course, it being Apple, taking your keyboard to an Apple store would probably get you a new keyboard, no questions asked.

I love this little keyboard. Yes, it may take a short time to adapt to, after using old style keyboards, but once you're used to it, you'll hate having to type on anything else again.

As for the complaint someone made about the £ sign... it sounds like s/he was using a US keyboard and not a British one. I have the £ sign printed above the 3 on mine... in fact I just used it (with Shift only, as is normal, no worry about the Option key)! You only have to look at the enlarged pic on this page to see the £ sign on the British keyboard layout in closeup.

I've been using this keyboard for some months and love it. Works well with rechargeable batteries (so long as you know when to replace) and pairs easily with your laptop/iMac etc.

Not really expensive as lightweight and if you wanted to use anywhere you could although you might not be able to see your screen!

    Well worth it!

    A Great Keyboard

I bought an iMac 6 months ago so therefore got this keyboard. It looks great and performs well. At first I wash unsure if such a small keyboard would be comfortable to type at but it is the most comfortable keyboard that I have ever used.

Although I am not a heavy typer I am impressed that I have only had to change the batteries on this once in 6 months.

The only drawback is that there is no delete key but the design and comfort of using it make up for this.
