Disappointed with iMovie!!!!

I am really disappointed with the imovie section of this new iLife version!!!
iMovie is aimed at people who don't use professional software like final cut... so why does it become increasingly complicated with each new version! iMovie 6 was brilliant! 7 was lame and 8 is even lamer!
GIVE US BACK THE SIMPLE "GARAGEBAND" TIMELINE!!!!
The only thing you should update is more transitions, effects and things we can do! DON'T CHANGE THE LAYOUT!!! The layout is the beauty of iLife!! Garageband, iTunes and iDVD are still the same... WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE IMOVIE LAYOUT????
