Apple Leather Case for iPod
Quality Case
Written by AS from Edinburgh

I have had this case for about 2 years now and still looks as good as new, used it first with my 30GB iPod, then my iPod Classic 80GB and fully intend to use it with the new iPod Classic 120GB (when I buy it).
Lovely good quality case keeping your iPod Classic 80GB/ 120GB nice and safe from knocks, scratches and fingerprints.
Does not add much bulk to the iPod which is good, fits easily into a pair of trousers, use mine with the Apple Remote Control which means don't have to keep fiddling with the control wheel taking it in and out the case.
OK the price is considerably higher than some similar cases and I realise will put some people off, but the quality is beyond any other case I've tried in the past and for me sealed the purchase for me.
Now if Apple will only make an iPhone 3G case of similar standard I will be a very happy bunny.
If you have the money buy this case and treat yourself and your iPod.36 of 56 people found this useful

Apple Leather Case for iPod
Fits My iPod Classic 80GB perfectly.

As the title says, this case fits my new Classic 80GB to a tee. However, at this price you buy at your own risk, I feel.
It certainly is the perfect, stylish and understated case for your precious iPod. That nice smell of quality leather and ease of operation. It slips in a pocket or bag adding very little bulk.
The price, as almost everyone else seems to point out, is phenomenally high. Perhaps there's some trade-secret in it's construction, I don't know, but it does seem hard to justify this price. Still, we are in a buyer's market so if you don't want to buy it there are plenty of other offerings to choose from.22 of 41 people found this useful

Apple Leather Case for iPod
Good But Overpriced

When I bought the Apple Leather Case for my IPOD, I thought it to be a good buy and it was. The strap to release your IPOD prevents you from leaving greasy marks on it. My 30GB IPOD fits snugly into the case easily and the inside is rather soft. I have noticed no scratches or marks on my IPOD since I bought it, a good case, but at £69 thats quite a lot of money don't buy unless serious about IPOD.

This is a superb cover for the 80GB classic - yes it IS a lot of money but it is without doubt the best quality bespoke case - it is superbly crafted, fits perfectly around the ipod and the ribbon pull is just sublime. Given that I watch videos on this (so the importance of a scratch-free screen is now imperative for me), I can't recommend this highly enough. Forget the cheaper 3rd party cases - this is the way to protect your ipod.

Apple Leather Case for iPod
For those who prefer quality over price

Don't buy this if you're not into buying top quality expensive products. However, if like me you like the best and don't mind paying extra for it then this is definitely for you. It looks great, and offers fantastic protection for your iPod. Mine is as pristine as the day I bought it, with not a single mark on the highly polished back. This is due entirely to this case. However, what I like best about it is that there are no cheap looking 'windows' on it, which typically mean operating your iPod while it stays within the case. What's the point of keeping a beautiful iPod locked away in a cheap case? With this case you have to get the iPod out to operate it, giving you the opportunity to enjoy it's form and beauty every time.

It's a great looker, protects the iPod and barely adds any size to it.
sure, some might mock the price, and i'd prefer it to be say, £50, but I can get over it considering i'm getting a lot of use out of it.162 of 331 people found this useful

Overpriced

I just think its a silly price. Its "budget airline" thinking; keep the price of the main product as low as you can but then fleece the punters on the accessories. Well not this punter!

Apple Leather Case for iPod
pricey...but classy

I bought my 30gb ipod in Argos and had reserved the case too. However, as I was entering my pin number into the debit card machine I actually paused and thought.. "What am I doing spending this much on a case????". As there was a queue building up behind me I went ahead and bought it thinking that I could return it as it's from Argos. But you know what? I absolutely love it! How smug will you feel when you get your shiny new ipod out of this luxurious case and people say "Wow!"- then they want one and ask for details ..."Where did you get that?", "How much was it?", and you know that they will end up with a case from Currys (not that I am slating cases from Currys-I used to have one for my Nano!).The very large price just makes it worth the price-if you get me?! You become part of an elite group of very fortunate and classy music lovers!

it is a very nice case. bought it after my old 30GB video got destroyed to the point that i couldn't watch videos because of scratches. decided to protect my 80gb.
however the apple store is ridiculously overpriced. you can get this same case (genuine) on ebay for £30 and the £20 isocks cost about £5. avoid this store48 of 85 people found this useful

Apple Leather Case for iPod
Hilariously Overpriced

It's a slip case, that's all it does. It doesn't add features, or offer that much protection. Spend £40 on upgrading your iPod in your basket to the next model up and grab a cheaper case for it, it's a better investment than this.
