iPod goes back to School

School can be a dangerous place. Here I have written a review based on the experiences of a teenager in a Middle England High School.
Style: Rather than buy the boring black cases, I felt that something more vibrant was called for. These are stylish, cool, even, dare I say, 'hip'. And that is the first point I would like make.
Practicality: For most people this is paramount. These allow the iPod to fit slimly into trouser pockets, (blazer) inside-pockets and bags.
Safety: When in the sock, the iPod is protected from scratches, and 'injuries' of the type.
*Note: When in the Apple iPod Sock, your iPod is not invincible!
So, there you have it, the 'Socks can easily match up to the other cases out there and surpass them.

Cover or Socks?

I bought a cover in the end after 20 minutes of choosing in John Lewis. I then went on the internet when I got home and ordered some socks. They look awesome and are really useful at school. I love my socks they top covers anyday.

the ipod socks are pretty good let me tell you about a little expirience i've had......i was at school running late for class. i put my ipod in my blazer pocket.....i was running up th stairs when my blazer hit the stair ...when i got into class i checked it and it had a huge scracth so the ipod socks arent very good at protecting it. they dolook awsome though!

a great way of protecting your ipod from scratches. not much protection if you drop it, but if your anything like me and take superb care of something you paid over 200 quid for, that doesnt matter! also very cool. people who see it are more interested in it than the ipod! very good buy.

Wow, these socks are awsome. they make your ipod so much more interresting and can brighten up your day. But they dont really protect your ipod.

Apple iPod Socks

Soft case better than other cases

I spent ages looking for a soft case to just slip my iPod into, without scratching its highly polished case.

I had used to official iPod case included with my 60gb iPod, which I found was very tight against the case, and also made the whole thing very bulky. Not only that but the little apple logo tab (with its lazer cut edge) put a nice set of tramlines down the back of my ipod.

When apple released these, I automatically purchased some, theyre fantastic. They are very soft, and keep the iPod in almost pristine condition.

The one downside is obviously this will not protect your iPod against a large fall against something very solid, however the socks would easily protect your ipod against small drops.

Another downside is, you cannot buy these in the colours YOU want, you have to buy the pack of assorted colours, which means you are often left with 5 socks you dont like. I prefer the grey one, to go with my ipod, and as consequence, it has grown very tatty and dirty.

The limited elasticity in the fabric used will soon go, but will retain a limited amount (about 10%) for the type of iPod you use, so it will always "stretch to fit"

These are fab little things, they are certainly cuter than all of my socks!These ipod socks are handy and look gorgeous! You can change the colour every now and then or change the colour to suit your mood! But their one let down is that they dont really protect your ipod but if you wanted it for that reason then you'd buy a case then instead, wouldnt you!?!?!?!
To conclude.. get these socks! You get like 6 in a pack, i think, all the colours of the rainbow!
They are suitable for all ipods and ipod minis and are elasticated and cosy so keep your ipod nice and snug and looking fabbbbbbbbulous!!!!!!!!!!!

the socks are amazing, the roect your ipod from minor scratches and look amazing, te only down is that they offer no protection on big drops but overall they rule. Best ipod accesory out yet!

Theese socks are the best! i recently got an ipod nano and it stops it gettin scratched as the scratch really easily! i would recomend them to anyone with an ipod and deffinatly to anyone with an ipod nano! The colours of the rainbow apple socks rox! BUY THEM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone I know wants an iPod sock. When i bought my new iPod i got some and now everyone wants one, I have lent one to a close friend (which i want back, and he wont let me) but everyday people beg me for one. Well I say get your own, they are well worth it, they keep your ipod unsratched and make the world's coolest gadget even cooler. Plus on top of this there is never a moment where you can't use it due to colour clashing. They are the best six colours. Great buy and a must have.

basically this is a great product. theyre cute, plus they provide good protection.

nanos scratch like nothing else (even in my pocket with nothing else in [and i take good care of my stuff]) so i bought one of these and i havent had a single one since which is great.

if only i got one when i bought the pod.

ah well...doesnt matter...this is a top quality product and i recommend it to anyone

IF YOU HAVE A IPOD YOU GOT TO GET IPOD SOCKS THERE JUST SOOOOOO LUSH AND YOULL LOOK COOL BUT THEY DO GET A BIT DRITY BUT WHO GIVES A DAM ABOUT THAT. THEYRE LUSH US.

No covers for nano - these will do!!!

I recently bought the i-pod nano. I needed something to protect it because I heard how they are scratching easily. There are no covers out there yet that will protect your nano so I bought the apple socks. They're great! I have no scratches on my nano and its been taken into university and the gym. They look good and protect the nano well. They arent too big for it either, it fits perfectly and doesnt stretch the material. Would recommend to anyone!

If you use this at school then it means that the ipod mini is still small so can fit anywhere. It also is better than a black case or a boring colour as these are vibrant. If you buy a tube, then you can do what my friend did, sell the rest to other people, as you only need one after-all!
