Too short, and expensive thats why Ive Dropped 2 Stars!

Connected to my Dell 24" Displays in that screens Native Resolution.
Overall I'm Very pleased with this product and would recommend it.

This is very useful because all apple products are just so incompatible when you buy this you can connect a macbook or any other product with a mini-dvi port to a, vga equipped TV, projector, and anything else

    Another Be Careful Comment

I bought this after reading all the comments about it not having the extra slots for a VGA adapter, since I was planning on using it on a DVI monitor anyway, but found out that my DVI cable needs those slots too. Before you buy I'd recommend looking at your DVI cable ends. If it has pins above and below the horizontal bar, this won't fit it.

Fortunately for me I also have a VGA monitor and I bought the mini DVI to VGA adapter at the same time, which has worked perfectly.

Good but product description should be much clearer

Apple does NOT make it clear in the product description that this adaptor CANNOT be used with the 867mHz G4 Powerbook 12".

That particular model Powerbook uses VGA video, so it cannot output to a DVI monitor, thus this adaptor is incompatible with that model.

This may be obvious to computer experts, but it should be made obvious in the product description because it is VERY confusing for the layman.

    DVI-D, not DVI-I

The adapter works well enough, but make sure you know what you're buying; it's a DVI-D adapter, which means you can't use a VGA adapter on the end.
