    Stay away from this product.

I've had two of these bands now, the first broke due to a small impact directly to the button and the second won't charge. Admittedly apple were great in replacing the broken wrist band, but I was disappointed with the product.
My advice would be to go for another product which are cheaper and water proof.
The above said, I think out of all the similar products on the market, Nike's looks the best and is discreet enough to be worn to work so you can get a full days use

Lost 10lb in 30 days - JUST DO IT

    • Written by from Elgin

The Nike Fuelband SE is amazing I have lost 10lbs in 30 days simply by setting a daily goal of 3000 Nike Fuel. I sit at my desk all day and it reminds me that I must exercise daily. All I need to do is go for a fast walk until I hit my goal.

My son has one now and it had made him very active as he loves hitting all the goals and rewards that Nike provide, not to mention the thought of beating his dad every day.

A life changer, so BUY ONE.....Just Do It!

Does exactly what it says on the tin...

I received my Nike Fuel Band SE as a gift and after initially having the wrong size exchanged it for a small. It is recommended that you go for a smaller size as included in the box are adjusting links to make the band bigger.

The fuel band does exactly what it advertises. It makes you more aware of how much physical activity you are doing per day and then compares this with previous days. It will count calories and work out how many steps you have taken. You have to bear in mind that this is a calculation based on how active you have been, as well as your height and weight which you input into the Nike website when you set the Fuel Band up.

It is an excellent motivational tool to get you moving and sets you realistic targets. There is a big social element to the system which allows you to share your progress for social media, and with friends who are using the same system.

In summary this is a very good motivational tool to encourage people to exercise more. If you want something to map your run and tell you how fast your heart has been beating then this won't be the product for you.

I would recommend this product without hesitation!

I had the Jawbone Up until it died after 6 months. Plus, i'd stopped using it for over 2 months as it wasn't really helping be more active.

The Fuelband is great. It offers immediate feedback via it's screen and syncs effortlessly with the iPhone. It's just great. It real is helping me be more active.

    Well worth it and recommended

Over priced Fancy Watch (that is also not a very good watch.)

I was really excited about the new fuel band as I thought the last one, for all it's hype and excitement, didn't really do all that much. This one is more of the same only now it comes in green, orange or pink.

Where to start.... well there are apps you can download that do a better job at tracking your fitness, namely strava, map my ride, map my run etc etc. all of which do essentially the same thing and they are free.

"fuel" as a concept for encouraging exercise just doesn't work because other people either don't care or are sick of receiving notifications of how fit and exercise-y you are being on that day.

step counter doesn't work very well at all no matter how tight you wear the band.

calorie counter is completely off but how on earth that was ever going to be right I don't know.

and despite sessions being added if you run with it, it still doesn't no that you are running! I went on a quick 2mile run yesterday to test it, and it registered fractionally more activity than I would had I have been walking. completely off again!

the only thing going for it, and this is me being generous, is the app integration which is nice and pretty but doesnt help or encourage you at all.

essentially what you are paying for here is the "privilege" to wear a Nike band on your wrist. I don't need a device to motivate me to exercise however I do need a device that maps my exercise accurately. the Fuelband does neither and I will be taking it back to the store as soon as I can.
