    DO NOT BUY!!!

    I purchased this device because I trusted Apple. Set up was very easy, customer support very helpful, using it was straight forward and then I don't ever receive any of my money. Like other customers they have all my details and they are all correct. Worryingly they now have copies of my bank statements because their bank said they have paid me. After investigation it seems this is normal practice. Have a look at the posts on their Facebook page. It seems this is a big con!

    Very disappointing so far

    Transactions seem to always fail and the card reader does not update its software.
    We were promised 'customer not present' transactions in the Autumn of 2013 but these are still not implemented.
    Completely useless for us.

    Stay away, terrible, terrible, bad, shocking service

    I have had the payleven machine since November 2013.
    It is now March 2014
    I have used it, the set up is fine, oh yes and collecting people's money is very easy. . . . But then I haven't had a penny out of Payleven.
    They have my full name, address, passport, marriage certificate, driving licence, IBAN NUMBER, bank account number, morgage number, shoe size, bra size and my age.
    And they still won't transfer my money which is in there "holding account" to me.
    I have now realised I don't think I will be seeing any of my monies again.
    Stay away.
