    Top sound - true audiophile

    • Written by from Chios

I ve been using these headphones for almost 2 months. One world comes on my mind every single time i put them on and listen to my favorite music. You can hear every song you might choose and the experience will be the same. I ve experimented on a variety of genres and the outcome always was the BEST true detailed high fidelity audio. Not too much bass i think but incredible clarity. The only bad in my opinion is the size of earcups it feels great but their measurements are designed for s- m sized ear.. I ve small ears so i am excited about the product as they seal external sound properly and their feel is tight and soft as it should be.

    Best headphones I've owned

    • Written by from Southend-on-Sea

Bought these after the reduction in price as the momentum 2.0 headphones' release is imminent. These headphones are a great all-rounder. They sound great for almost all the music I have listened to so far, and as someone else mentioned, with these headphones you really can tell the difference between songs that are well made and those that aren't. However, these headphones will definitely leave bass-loving listeners wanting for more. After living with my Apple EarPods for quite some time, the reduction in bass in the Sennheisers was quite shocking. Dubstep and heavy dance tracks are definitely not suited to this headphone and I prefer even my Apple EarPods over these for this. These by no means sound bad with this music but there are definitely better alternatives out there if that is your primary listening category. However, the clarity of these for everything else is simply astounding and I would recommend these for anyone other than for the people mentioned above.

Much higher fidelity than many cans

    • Written by from New Malden

These are very good cans. There seem to be four main approaches to headphones - thumping bass for headbangers, like Dr Beats; smooth, rich with rolled off treble, like Bose; bright and tizzy, but no true upper frequency extension, like many cheap cans, and neutral. These fall into the neutral category. They are well engineered, sound clear and are truthful. Well produced music sounds amazing. Bad production ruthlessly exposed. They are comfortable too on my head, but then we're all different. They are also more neutral than the cheaper Momentum on ear version which have a warmer and bassier sound but less mid range clarity and air. Oh, and there's a huge soundstage with this on-ear version. These cans are keepers.
