This is a fantastic tool to monitor your day to day activity. I am not a sports or fitness fanatic, however, I wanted to monitor my activeness and, if needs be, increase it. The FuelBand is very easy to setup and use, it also makes for a very cool looking watch. The software is very clear and high quality, I am able to visualise my daily activities and activeness easily using the statistics provided. Also, highly recommend to anyone who already has a very busy daily schedule and would like to see where they could fit in that extra mile walk or the need to get off the bus a stop early.

A good idea, but flaky in places

Delivery was faultless and the design & construction seem good. (Longevity and reliability will have to wait). Connection via my Mac or iPad were straightforward, except that, like others, I initially had problems with synching via the iPad. This now seems to be resolved, and works fine so long as you make sure the Nike app is up and running on the iPad. The ability to review your history seems non-existent via the iPad, but great using a Mac (or PC).

The basic principle seems great : that it encourages you to monitor your activity levels day by day. If one day is light, you are prompted to compensate.

My main gripe relates to the things the Band supposedly measures. The band seriously underestimates calories consumed. Presumably because of how it measures (using accelerometers on your wrist) it fails to take account of many activities. The most obvious example would be cycling which is more or less ignored. It picks up some activity from rowing, but not as much as I believe it should.

Despite the partial recording of activity, its ability to encourage you to achieve goals is its key benefit.

This is an amazing product. I've have tried loads of fitness gadgets. This is buy far my favourite. There are lots of mixed reviews on the net. But just take no notice of the calories and steps and set the fuelband so you only see time and fuel. Then it becomes a good watch and the fuel just works the more you move exercise the more you get. So set yourself a high goal and go for it. If your sat around in the evening and notice you haven't met your goal it gives you the motivation to get up and keep going to you do. I was so unsure about this product after buying lots of fitness gadgets that are so so but this just works love it. I'm a 31 year old male exercise every day gym rowing weights all sorts and it works great 5 stars.

This is not a step tracker and calorie tracker, this device has changed my life as now I always aiming to get my goal, it prompts you to be active and then share your victory with other people.

I have had this device for over 6 months now, and I wear it like a watch, it works and does it job.

    Seriously recommend this tech.
