    Just stopped working

    • Written by from HENLEY-ON-THAMES

Great device (in concept). Nice big display on the iPhone which is helpful when working out in the gym . Works with a range of apps and worked well for about a month and then just stopped connecting. I have reloaded all the apps, reset bluetooth, tried the fix suggested by the manufacturer and none of these have worked.

Works great till it packs up totally.

Worked great for 3 months until it just stopped working. Changed batteries tried connecting to a number of iPhones all with no luck. Works great when it 'works' but presume the transmitter just breaks. Even tried the Wahoo Utility and that can't find it. AVOID!

    Going back to Polar.

Works well but mine packed up after 4 months

This works great for the 4S and is compatible with plenty of apps. You can also use it with some app running on the iPad 3 gen which is great if you are exercising at home and want a nice big display showing your heart rate (I use walkmeter 7 for this)

However my unit just stopped working while out on a bike ride and even though I have changed the batteries I can't connect to any of my devices. The problem is there is no indication at all on the strap if it is working at all, so you are left trying to get the apps (and the Wahoo utility) to try an connect.

Hopefully it will be replaced quickly by the supplier (in my case Amazon)

    Works with most Apps now

    • Written by from GLASGOW

Works with DigiFit, Runkeeper, Runtastic, Endomondo, Sports Tracker, Strava Run and probably many more. Most developers have now updated their apps to work with the new breed of LE Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitors.

Some Apps do take a long time to connect and possible reasons for not detecting the Belt?

Your forgot to wet the sensor pads
The belt is paired with more than one iOS device and it's picked up another one?
It's not the correct tension, or in the wrong place.

Accuracy is excellent. Checked with a Doctor and exactly the same reading as he got.

    Brilliant - Great with Strava

    • Written by from Selby

I bought this and Wahoo Fitness's Bluetooth Speed and Cadence sensor 'Blue SC'. Together they allow me to collect all the data I need when cycling and running. The Wahoo app is really well designed and can upload a completed session to loads of fitness apps. I have just opted for Strava and Dropbox. Dropbox can receive about 8 different file types, I have settled for GPX, CSV and Wahoo's own file format. The quality of the hardware is comparable to my backup Sunnto T3c.

So far the device is working as expected, I have not had any of the other problems described here... I will be sure to report any problems should they occur.

Great but maybe the quality it not up to scratch

Purchased end of Oct 2012 and used it with my Cyclemeter App connected and setup in minutes and all was working fine very pleased but then as you will read with other reviews the HRM stopped working Feb 2013 approx 3 months of use, tried a few things eg replaced battery etc but no joy. Took it back to Apple Store replaced without any fuss impressed with the service from Apple. I hope the replacement will be more reliable and longer lasting.

As with some other reviewers, this worked great for about an hour then nothing. Changed battery reset phone and tried with another iPhone, no luck.

    Very disappointing.

    Can't Train Without It

    • Written by from Coventry

Had mine for about a year and apart from loss of signal due to battery, the HR monitor has never let me down. I wear it every time I train and whether running, biking, skipping or circuit training I think it's a great piece of kit.

Highly recommend the HR monitor and Wahoo app.
