I highly recommend these speakers they will make any desk top look great at a very reasonable price. I recommend using them in a medium size room as the 50 wats are great in bedrooms but not much good in a large room

    Extremely good.

    • Written by from London

The sound quality is extremely good, and they look very sleek. The bass is very good aswell, but perhaps since it is a down firing sub-woofer you cant feel the base as much as upwards firing ones. There are rather a lot of wires but i was able to hide them easily. The seperate sound control is very usefull aswell. For the price they are at it is a bargain considering how good they are!

    Slick and Glossy

    • Written by from Newcastle

Sound is Amazing, perfect for blasting out your favourite classical music or the latest pop song, slick and glossy which looks perfect on my minimalistic work area. i was a tad reluctant as they were cheap and i always believe you get what you pay for, but these didn't let me down. Very Happy!

    Well worth the money

I find these speaker amazing. It would have to be something amazing for me to replace them. Cheap compared to many speaker but i'd recommend them any day. The bass is amazing but could be better, but these aren't top of the range speaker, just good affordable ones.

I would give it two bad points. Firstly, theres many wires, it not a problem but i'm the person who can't stand wires. I just hang them behind the desk and its sorted but their still there. And secondly, their not the loudest speakers in the world. I like my music loud and these are perfect for loud music with a few people. But they arent the best party speakers. With a jam packed room, they seem much more quieter.

I'd highly advise them if your on a budget and only using them for personal use, but for more party use, not the best thing on te market. But definately great speakers and look amazing.

    These speakers are incredible!
I was originally worried about purchasing one of the cheapest pairs of speakers on the apple store, but they are in fact amazing. I love them and am strangely addicted to them.

The only downside is the wires, but they are easily tidied away and it is little to detract from their amazing design and style.

    Love them!

    • Written by from LONDON

These really are almost too good to be true for the price, thought they would be alright just for the bedroom, but they have been upgraded to the lounge as they sound so good.

Highly recommended them and they really won't disappoint for the money.......bass is great and the separate volume control means the cables can all be tucked away out of sight, already thinking about getting another pair for somewhere else in the house!

You won't get a better sound for the money

    • Written by from London

I had been using a Dell 2.1 system connected to my Airport Express for a while, the sound was OK but nothing to get excited about, hence my decision to upgrade. I know a few wannabe audiophiles who are convinced that the more you pay the better sound you get, but I don't agree, I'd suggest that anyone who judges an audio setup by price is missing the point. I'm delighted with the purchase, they have brought a whole new level to my listening experience, tones are clear and crisp and the bass deep but not overpowering. Now the weakness in my system is mp3 sound quality, the difference between bit-rates is so clearly defined now!

Great voice, shame about the face :|

I bought these speakers based on the reviews of everyone below. The sound quality is great, don't think I can fault it. The subwoofer is powerful, I know I'll get my own back on the two noisy Italians who play loud music at 6am on a Sunday that live in the flat below me. The satellite speakers are crisp and clear, I'm even hearing parts of songs I didn't pick up on my earphones. I would have given a 5 if the subwoofer were a little less bulky and more aesthetically pleasing to look at. Just my personal opinion and I can live with it due to the great quality of the audio.

    For the price, very good

    • Written by from Leicester

Considering they cost less than £100, these are an excellent package. Not the smallest around, but very good. Aesthetically, they are very sleek, head and shoulders above many of the alternatives.
But, to the person who claims that more money does not buy more quality, you are deluded. I have a decent hi-fi, and these wouldn't be allowed in the same room. I also have a setup for the family computer with a Denon amp and a pair of mission speakers. That cost 3X what these babies do, and you can tell.
I don't wan to end on a negative. For the price, these are cracking, in my small study

great music with affordable price tag

    • Written by from New delhi

nice pair of speakers with good sound quality. i was in search of such speakers that are affordable n satisfies the need of good sound. and my journey ends with these unique design set of 2.1. well the sound is more than what i expected and bass is enough to deal with low frequencies. but those looking for extra bass then please search something else as these meant to fill a standard size room. but best in quality with this price tag. i bought for 60 pounds from currys. i highly recommend it.

    Fantastic speakers

    • Written by from Rostrevor

Bought these last year after realizing that i have nothing really to play music or watch movies along with. As a student, i left my sound system behind, and thought the speakers on my iMac would be ok, but in an effort to preserve them - i bought these to play music, watch movies and monitor music productions.

I can honestly say - the sound quality on these are amazing... the bass is very accurate and mids are tight and highs are crisp. The overall package is a bargain cos you will not find sound quality this amazing for such a price. Well worth it. Loud enough and just amazing looking.

     Edifier Prisma E3350

Was very suprised about the sound quality from such a small unassuming unit. Full Deep Mellow Baseline @ low and high volume. Very loud system too. Great highs and mids. I was very impressed, I bought one on the spot from the Covent Garden store 2yrs ago. Worth the money.

I have these speakers and I am as satisfied as i can get.
Good speakers, good sound, fantastic bass and the max volume is perfect "balanced".
Still, if the price had been a little higher it wouldn't have got the five stars.

Great speakers for a great price!

    • Written by

I am by no mans an audiophile, but after searching for a speaker within budget for my kitchen I've heard what a bad set of speakers sounds like (think UE bluetooth speakers). I wanted an Airplay speaker so I could listen to music whilst cooking, but all the offerings are really expensive! Instead I paired these with an Airport Express. Perfect! The speakers sound great - a friend of mine has the HK Soundstick 3's (which use the same 2.1 with downward sub config) and thinks these sound as good if not better. The sub is good and strong but also adjustable so you can tune the amount of bass to your taste. The satellite speakers re sleek and sound crisp. The volume controller looks smart and feels solidly built and the lighting on the unit looks cool too! Overall, really happy with my choice!

Very pleased with these speakers, sound quality is fantastic. Not going to deduct a star but they are bigger than they look on the pic but do look great next to my mac. You won't be disappointed. Ordering and delivery was superb too.

I bought these for my 27" iMac because the in-built speakers weren't great for playing music from iTunes etc. - the speakers sound great and look good too! They also appear to be excellent value for money when compared to other external speakers in the Apple Store. I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Edifier Prisma Bluetooth 2.1 versus Edifier S330D

    • Written by from Sydney Mines

Nearly 2 years ago, I purchased an Edifier S330D. was so very impressed that I wrote a flattering review of it at that time.
Recently, I purchased an iMAC from Apple and liked the concept of the Edifier Prisma Bluetooth as an ideal companion to my new MAC system. The visual appearance is stunning. Just too bad though that the sound quality simply does NOT match its visual appeal. I was so unhappy with the speakers that I returned them for a credit.
I am now using the older - but more capable - Edifier S330D.
It is sad indeed that Edifier has seriously cheapened a product that was previously very good. I can tell you that the distortion in the sub-woofer is really bad. I have used really inexpensive Logitech speakers that sounded a lot better for a fraction of the price.
Edifier may want to look like a rocket ship and that is neat - but only if the sound quality follows suit. Sadly, that is NOT the case. I can NOT recommend these speakers and would suggest that if you were thinking of purchasing these, that you consider your alternative options.

    It's more than you expect!

    • Written by from Årslev

I went out to buy a simple speaker system to play some music (rock/metal primarily) and I wanted something that could play my favorite artists without hesitation, and without distortion, even at higher volumes.

WELL, that is exactly what this is!

I was extremely surprised by how well it played, and how well balanced the audio is. You just can't stop listening to music after you buy this!

    BUY IT, NOW!
