What is their frequency response? What is their wattage? Are these loud enough to hear them a few rooms away? Thanks.
I've bought 5 different sets of portable speakers this past year, and none of them were more powerful than my Macbook Pro's built in speakers. I am trying to gauge what class of speakers these are.... Just a minimalistic "you can listen to your iPod out loud", or "I can hear this around the house as I'm working"?
Thanks for your advice,

The earlier iHM77 makes a loud buzz/hiss when both the USB and audio connectors are plugged in. Does this new model iHM79 have the same problem?
- Asked by Juan Carlos R from Vienna

AnswerYes it does, if you have the USB and audio plugged into the same computer at the same time, there is a very loud and noticeable hiss that almost makes the speakers unusable. If you plug in audio only, it's fine. If you plug in audio to your laptop and plug the USB into an AC/USB adapter it's also fine.
