Best AnswerYes you can with Netflix; however I can't get it to work with movies on Amazon Prime which is weird.

Will this cable help me to connect my iPad 2 to my Bose iPod dock speakers(classic). I'm looking for an extension cable which can connect to my iPad
I want to connect my Bose speakers(for iPod & iPhone) to my iPad but I cannot do it since the iPad does not fit in the stand do I'm looking for a cable which can solve my issue(30 pin to 30 pin connector) will this cable solve my problem ?

Best AnswerNo. You need 30-pin extension cord. This will have a connector that plugs in to the bottom of your iPad on one end and a 30-pin socket (female counterpart) on the other end that will connect to the Bose dock. These are available online at various websites.

AnswerI was delighted to find it output LPCM 5.1, as I only have 5.1 implemented - I can see no reason why 7.1 will not work as well.
LPCM IS THE Purest Lossless format!

Is it possible to watch live tv via the digital av adapter connected to my television with the hdmi cable?.
I have connected my Iphone4 to my television with the apple AV adapter and a HDMI cable and want to watch live TV from my Film on App?. I can play videos from my Iphone without a problem but when I try to watch live TV from Film on I get the sound but no Picture.

Best AnswerThis is up to the app developers if they include or exclude video out on their app. Try an alternative, I personally use the TVCatchUp app which does allow for TV Out.

AnswerIf the dock connector isn't seated securely, you may experience a message saying "this accessory is not supported". Removing and reconnecting securely fixes this. Some cases and covers may make this challenging. Also, a few televisions may have HDMI compatibility issues, particularly if they're older. While the adapter is compatible with the vast majority of televisions on the market, everyone's setup is different.

Best AnswerUsing one HDMI adapter that I think is the old version, I get the message ("This accessory is not supported") on a Verizon gen 3 iPad, but not an AT&T gen 3 iPad.
Using a newer HDMI adapter (on this one you have to pinch it to unlock), I don't get the message on either iPad.

I have an iPad 2 with 3G from ATT. I have not upgraded to iOS 6 yet. I am teaching a class in a location where there is no wi-fi and want to project a website using my iPad. I have a projector with HDMI input. Will this adapter allow me to mirror my iPad 2? Thanks for any advice.

Best AnswerNo, the iPad 1 does not have the capability of mirroring. Video can be displayed on another screen using this adapter, but apps will not be mirrored.
