What is the best replacement for the power cord for a PowerBook G4. The old one was A1021 65W
I would prefer to have a long power cord that plugs into the wall, then to the transformer rather than plug the transformer into the wall. Looks like the replacement you recommend is 85W and does not have a cord.

Macbook Air 11" 2012 - Converter for SE Asia?
I have an 11" Macbook Air that I bought in January 2012 in Canada. I am currently in SE Asia and am wondering if I need to use a converter to charge it? Other posts I have seen have said it is not necessary so I have plugged it in with an adapter and the battery got extremely hot, is this from not having a converter, or is something wrong with my computer?

Will the 85w MagSafe Power Adapter for the Macbook Pro will work in Australia or do I need a power converter?
I came from Mexico and brought my MacBook Pro 15'' but I don't know if I need a power convertor or a power adapter, and I'm afraid to charge it because it might get fried because of the power voltage.

Yes. The adapter can be used anywhere between 100v to 240v with 50 Hz or 60 Hz. I have used mine the US, Australia, Japan, UK, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Dubai, Egypt, and more. All you need to do is get the right wall plug adapter.

AnswerIf your MacBook is a 2006 to present date, you don't need a power transformer/converter. Your present Power Adapter will accept Line voltage: 100V to 240V AC and Frequency: 50Hz to 60Hz. What you will need are Plug Adapters. Go to Apple Store type in power adapters in the search box and get the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit. It includes 6 adapter plugs.

Answeris the computer working AND charging while it is turned on? if so then it should be ok it use. if it only powers the computer, then get a 85w one. if you are really worried it will blow up (it wont) then buy the 85w model. enjoy your macbook.

I'm from Chile and i'm buying a 13" MB Pro in the US ¿Do i need to get this or other chager? ¿Can i use the one that comes in the box?

AnswerThe power adapter included with your 13' MBP will be fine as long as you have a plug adapter to fit your wall sockets at home. Both this adapter, and the one that comes with your computer can both handle 220V and 50Hz automatically. I can't exactly tell visually if it includes it, but if you don't already have a plug adapter, you might want to look at the "Apple World Travel Adapter Kit".
