Will the World Travel Adapter Kit work in Jordan? If so, which plug? Are there multiple plugs for Egypt?
The question about Jordan has already been asked but an answer hasn't been posted. Egypt has received a positive answer but other non-Apple sites suggest that multiple different plugs are in use. Will the WTAK be all I need for my trip to both of these countries?

Answer
Based on information provided by other sites, you could safely conclude that both the "French" and "British" type plugs supplied with the Travel Kit will work in at least some, but not all, of the receptacles you may encounter in Jordan. Egypt also accepts the "French" type plug.

Does this really work with iPod 3rd generation (as stated)? This model as I understand it can only be charged by a Firewire (to dock connector) cable
The 3rd generation iPod has a dock connector, and data can be transferred either by USB or Firewire. However, attempting to charge this type of iPod via USB does not work (as it explains in the manual). What's special (i.e. different from a regular mains charger) about this kit?
