Is there an adapter to connect an iPhone 3 or 4 to a multimedia projector?
I have an iPhone4 and would like to hook it up to a multimedia projector. I know the MC552ZM/B adapter will work with an iPad2 for the same purpose, but I have not been successful in using the same adapter with my iPhone and the projector.

Is this the correct one to connect a 2005 iMac G5 (via VGA cable) to a TV?

Best AnswerNo, you would actually need the "VGA Display Adapter" for the G5 iMac. Search the Apple store for specifically that item.

Can I use this adapter to get sound to my TV? The picture is coming through but not the sound.

Answerthe VGA cable is only used to display the image on your screen. The VGA isn't capable of transferring the sound through the television. if you want sound try plugging the mac into some speakers. but if you want the sound coming out of the television, you have to get an HDMI adapter, which is also sold in the apple store.

iPod to VGA/LCD display
Hi,
I would like to show a video I created on iMovie. Instead of transporting my entire MacBook, I'd like to just transport the video on my iPod. Is there a cable that can go from my iPod to a VGA/LCD projector? Is there a combination of 2 cables that would make this work?
Thank you,

AnswerYes and no. There is a Composite Cable available for the iPods on this store. Search for it, I can't name a single LCD projector that doesn't have a traditional composite (yellow, red, white) cable setting system available on it. That should work, however you're in the wrong section for this. Try iPod. P.S. Check first that you iPod is on the compatible list for the Composite cable (this is always at the bottom of the page..)

Will the Adapter Make the Laptop Screen go Blank?
I want the screen image to display on the screen of my Early 2011 MacBook Pro, as well as on whatever I plug into the adapter. Will it do this?

AnswerLinda,
I am new to apple (migrated from a PC to iMac about 2-3 weeks ago).
Purchased a Mini DisplayPort Adapter for DVI only because the store did not have a HDMI adapter.
Hooking up the adapter between the iMac and my 23" external display was very easy. The iMac display configuration was also easy. The system did an excellent job of determining the best resolution for the external display.
I chose not to "mirror" the two displays (what shows on the primary display also shows on the other). I like to bring up a window of what I want shown and then drag that window to the external display presentation area for viewing. That way, if I have notes or something else I want to do it does not show up on the external display. Works very well if you are giving a presentation and want to bring up key notes, document questions and answers during your presentation, or look up something on the web during a presentation.
I believe your MacBook Pro will operate in a very similar manner as an iMac. Please check with a staff member at your local Apple store. They will be able to clarify your MacBook Pro display capabilities and make configuration recommendations to best suit your needs.
I hope this information helped you.- Answered by Greg R from Galena
