Can I use this keyboard at work on a PC that is using Windows 7 Enterprise OS?
I love this keyboard and do not like the basic logictech keyboard that I am provided with at work. My company does not use Apple products; however, I would like to buy an Apple keyboard (wired with numeric keypad) and use it with my PC at work. Is this possible without having system adminstrator permissions on my PC?

As with the wireless keyboard, how secure is it when it comes to passwords entry? Will it be picked up by strangers nearby or outside the building?
- Asked by Leisa C from Ottawa

AnswerNo, it will not be picked up by strangers, unless someone is deliberately outside your door with a ton of hardware to crack the signal and hack the information you type. If you are not a FBI agent or a spy of any kind, I think you will be good to go.

I want to order this British layout (£=shift 3 - NOT international English) but it's not listed in the drop-down menu. How can I order it?
NB "International English" has a # above the 3 on the keyboard, and is not the same layout as "British". I want the British version. If I click "add to basket" on this page, it adds the German version (which is listed first in the drop-down menu)...

which is better the keyboard with a numeric keypad or the wireless keyboard?
which feels better...i can't decide.. i like the wirelessness...but i don't know if i should opt for a keyboard with a numeric keypad

AnswerTotally depends on your needs. If you're doing spreadsheet work or data entry or anything with a lot of numeric entry, having the numeric keypad is desirable. It is also great in some gaming situations. If not, the smaller form factor and lack of cord makes the wireless keyboard nicer. I have and use both depending on what I'm doing. I keep hoping Apple will come out with a wireless keyboard with numeric keypad. Both Microsoft and Logitech make them.

can you hook up apple key board to a p.c?

Answercertainly can, i use the extended keyboard both in bootcamp on a Macbook pro 17', as well as a custom built PC both running windows 7 x64 (and previously vista).
The drivers for the keyboard are contained in the bootcamp folder of the leopard install disc, or a simple google search will locate the same.
You will need to manually set the regional settings > keyboard to the correct settings from the control panel in windows once installed.
An alternative is the logitech dinovo keyboard, while its no where near as sexy, it does have a separate numerical keyboard (with media control) I purchased it purely for the numerical keypad, and use it both as a standalone calculator, and when useing the apple bluetooth keyboard (which is also sensational) or the laptop keyboard if I am doing alot of numerical input while on the road.- Answered by Anthony A

Do I have to install anything? Can I just plug it to the USB port?
I am wondering if there is some sort of installation to use the Keyboard? My Mac cannot read any type of discs. Would I be alright by simply plugging the keyboard to the USB port?

AnswerAt least for Mac OS X, I just plug it in and it works normally. Though I believe for the wireless version once you sync it and use software updates you might see a couple of updates for it, then it's all good.

my new keyboard slides away & my Apple Store says they no longer make it with rubbery pads, like the one at the store. Any work arounds?
There are 4 rubbery spots in the older keyboard.
Apple Store told me to try rubbing the slippery types with alcohal. No help.
I'm using rubber gaskets under it - hardly a svelte solution.
The keyboard is wired, with numeric keypad.- Asked by James T from Los Angeles

AnswerHome Depot or Lowe's sell in the hardware section, small rubber bumpers with adhesive on the back. Simply stick those where the keyboard come into contact with your desk surface (you might have to remove any bumpers that are there now).
