You can if your PC has a Dual Link DVI port. Your graphics card also needs to support desktop extension and a screen with such a large amount of pixels.

Yes, but you need a HDMI to DVI cable and analog stereo or optical digital audio. The Cinema Display does not have speakers so you would need to plug your Apple TV into another sound system.

How do I connect my 30" cinema display to my 24" iMac?
I'd like to have a bigger desktop on this 24" iMac, adding my 30" standalone Apple HD Cinema display seems logical, if the video card can handle it. System Profiler says it is an NVIDIA GeForce GT 130 card. Thanks!

Luckily your iMac is one of the newer ones and as such has a mini display port. You can use a Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter to connect to a 30" Apple Cinema Display. However, since the adapter (£68/$99) and the display (£1173/$1799) aren't particularly cheap, you may want to consider the fact that the new 27" iMacs have a 2560x1440 display that is only 3" smaller than the 30" ACD yet has improved LED backlighting all for only £1349/$1699.
If the extra screen space is important to you, you may want to consider selling your iMac and purchasing a new 27" iMac and a 24" LED display. You could get a quad core i5 (Core i5/i7 being a fair bit faster clock-for-clock than a Core2Duo) for likely less than it would cost to buy a 30" ACD (if you sold your existing machine). Such a setup would have better quality displays and would also be a fair bit more powerful.- Answered by PH from London

Will a Mac Mini drive the Cinema HD Display 30?
The Intel Minis have a DVI adapter. Will the Display 30 plug directly into the DVI & USB, or is a dual-DVI adapter needed? Also, what resolution is the video card of the Mini capable of producing?

I'm using a Mac mini with mine. It does need the adaptor, and it works at full resolution (2560 x 1600). No problem.

How do I remove the power cable from the 30" Apple Cinema HD Display?
It clicked hard into place when first uncrated, and I'm reluctant to enthusiastically pull on it for fear of bending or breaking the frame or case. This is for shipping or storage. Thanks!
