I was able to do it... I had purchased and installed it in my Macbook Pro and recently bought an iMac. I was able to reinstall it. I got help from Apple Care on the phone though. Just make sure you have your KEY and/or Product ID handy.

I have older versions of both iWork and Microsoft office. These do not pose any problems on my Mac. They all work just fine.

No, you can not download this on your iPad. Only apps in the iTunes App Store can be downloadable to the iPad. This is also a Mac-only software.

Hi there, I have just bought an Apple MacBook Pro, and my mum has bought an Apple desk top.
Do we need to buy 2 copies of the Microsoft office, or can we share 1 copy and install on my MacBook pro, then a family members desktop Mac?

I have Pages, Keynote, and Numbers on my iPad mini and am wondering if this will work with it. I know they have Pages, Keynote, and Numbers for Mac, but I am more familiar with Microsoft Office.

office 2004 is a separate program and it should not cause any problems to have both. i would attempt to install office 2011 before uninstalling 2004 unless you have the discs to reinstall 2004 again should the need arise

how long is the license for? Is this a lifetime license or am I paying something every year for it?
