What is the purpose of one pre-installation film included in the set of Power Support HD Anti-Glare Film?
- Asked by Shafa R from Baku
- 18-Feb-2013
- Flag as inappropriate
Answer
The pre=installation film is a sticky film which is applied on the screen after you have cleaned and wiped it. Once it is stuck down on the screen it will pick up any other bits of dust, fingerprint oil, etc that remain and remove them when you take the film off. After doing this you then apply the clear protective screen film.

You get two screen protectors in this pack along with a thing to stick on the screen to pull off any dust or whatever might be stuck on it before you put it on.

How long does one shield last?
- Asked by Daniel G from Poughkeepsie
- 26-Nov-2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Answer
It completely depends on the user. If you're an adult, and you treat everything you've spent buckets-full of money on with care, it will last for eons. However, if it's going on a phone for some lucky kid that mistreats it, the lifespan will be much shorter.

does the anti glare shield allow polarized glasses to see the screen?

Yes it does. There is no reason why applying the anti-glare film set should affect you ability to fully visualise the screen whilst wearing polarised sunglasses.

Is this screen protector anti-microbial too?
- Asked by Ngoc N from Spartanburg
- 29-Oct-2012

Answer
As far as I'm aware it isn't unfortunately. Nevertheless, it's extremely easy to clean and I believe that you can spray a bit of anti-bacterial cleaner onto the screen and give it a rub every now and then without actually damaging the gorilla glass.

Are the protectors really cut into the single squared shape as shown in the photo here?
The ones shown on Power Support's website have separate, individual holes for the camera and speaker, which is how it was on the iPhone 4S protectors and which I loved and believe looks much better. Anyone actually received the new ones and know?
- Asked by Eric G from Santa Cruz

Answer
I just got the new one and it actually has a cut out for the earpiece, and three separate little holes for the camera, the light sensor, and apparently the microphone that is on the top front of the iPhone. I fits the phone great and it seems to fit in my case fine. I like these screen protectors and they work pretty good.
