does it tell time or date?
does Nike FuelBands tell time or date?

AnswerThe device will keep track of time and displays the time on the LED. Internally it does keep track of the date (if you don't sync it up for a few days, it does know which day you did what fuel points), however it does not display the date for you.
Also in the newer firmware updates, you can now change your time using your iPhone -- without plugging into a computer (for example if travelling or with daylight savings time).- Answered by Randy W from West Chicago

Can it be used as a watch?
Can I wear it as a watch as well as a workout device?

AnswerYes, very usable as a watch. It is very comfortable to wear though out the day. One draw back I have with it is the rigidity of the band. I wish it was more flexible.

does it have a built in clock/watch?
- Asked by Charlotte H from Barnsley

AnswerYES!
On pressing the button you can cycle between the "metrics" Fuel, Cals, Steps and Time . The band remembers the last metric you looked at so if for instance you earlier cycled through to time, the next time you push the button time would be displayed. To change to the next metric in the cycle, you press the button (displaying time again) and then before the display goes out press again and the display moves on to the next metric which is Fuel. When you sync the band either with your Mac/PC or iOS device, there are some minimal customisations for the display such as removing the Cals and Steps from the cycle, and rotating the display 180 degrees (for wearing on alternative wrist).
Hope that helps.- Answered by Joe H

Answer
Driving does not affect the stats. I do not know how it does it but it knows that your driving and not running. I'm sure it uses some algorithm to determine it. It does a very good job determining when your working out or riding in a car.
