AnswerShouldn't be any problem with that, as pretty much every domestic vehicle in the world uses a 12 volt DC battery.....

Will this Charger work with the Otterbox Reflex case on the phone?
The Regular charger that came with the phone works fine with the Otterbox case on the phone. The car charger I purchased does not work with the case on because the case extends a bit from the phone, and the plug does not stay in the phone securely. The case is tight fit, and it is hard to get it over the screen protector, so I do not want to have to take it on and off.

I have a daughter and she squabbles with my other daughter on who should use the one car charger on our holidays. I dont want to have to look through all of the apple store t find another of these cables. (as you can see, i just want the easoest and best value for money when i buy)

Is this compatible with the iPhone 5 and also the iPad 3rd gen
I was wondering if this is compatible with the iPad 3rd gen and also the iPhone 5.
I realise the supplied USB to dock connector cable would not work on the iPhone 5, but if I substituted the USB to dock connector cable with the USB to lightning cable (that comes with the iPhone 5) would it then charge the iPhone 5?
