AnswerYou cannot use any phone on Virgin Mobile if it was for another carrier. You cannot use an unlocked phone with VM. You can ONLY use a phone that was purchased as a VM phone.
I contacted Virgin Mobile and posed the question that I have a Sprint iPhone, can I use it on VM?
Their response is that every iPhone has a unique identifier and they will only allow activation/use of phones that were actually purchased as a Virgin Mobile phone.
Really disappointing since they don't have the iPhone 5 (in the US, but they do in other countries). I was going to sign up for Sprint, get the iPhone 5, then move to VM after the 2-year contract.
