Can I hook up Apple TV to a Promethean interactive board?
I have an iPhone 4S, iPod 4th generation (I think) and an iPad mini that I use at school. I currently use the lightning to board cable (the one with two screws) but it is a pain and I can't move around the room with it. Can I hook up Apple TV and use all of these devices wirelessly?

Can you use a bluetooth keyboard with this?

Best Answer
You can now with the iOS 5.2 update for Apple TV. Apple (kind of secretly) built Bluetooth into the 2nd and 3rd generation Apple TVs, but didn't activate it initially. As they did with the 2nd generation Apple TV, they waited to activate Bluetooth with a software update. Now you can finally use a Bluetooth keyboard with Apple TV. A lot of Apple TV users like myself have been waiting for this update.

It will work with any TV with a free HDMI port. It comes with a simple remote, but you can also get the remote app and use your iPhone. All you'll need is wifi and an HDMI cable.

Is the universal power supply similar to a Macbook in that it can receive AC 100-240 Volts, 50-60 Hz?
I live overseas, so I use an adapter for the plug on my Macbook and ipod/ipad charger. I want to buy an Apple TV, but I am not sure if I can plug it in where I live based on the 220V that is the standard voltage here. Please advise.

Does the apple tv need to be exposed in order for the remote to work? Or when using your phone as a remote does the apple tv need to be exposed?
I would like to buy the apple tv but only if I can hide it in the cabinet out of sight and it will still work. My hope is that the iPhone remote app works through wifi so the apple tv sensor does not need to be exposed to receive the signal from the remote.

Best Answer
For the remote controller the Apple TV (ATV) needs to be exposed as it's using IR.
You can install the Remote App on your iPhone or iPad to control the Apple TV.
In this case you don't need the ATV to be exposed as the Remote App is using the WiFi to control the ATV.- Answered by Laurens K

You cannot connect an external HD directly to Apple TV unfortunately. For some bizarre reason Apple have chosen not to support the internationally recognized standard known as DLNA to stream video, photos, and music from external peripherals. If you have an iPad or iPhone you can use an app (such as Media Connect) to access DLNA peripherals such as an external HD, and then Airplay it to the AppleTV. This works fine but does of course require an iPad or iPhone to work. Alternatively you have to leave your Mac or PC switched on and running iTunes. This is a missed opportunity by Apple. Numerous other devices similar to Apple TV are avallable which do support DLNA (Roku, WD, etc). If Apple ever make an app store for Apple TV then maybe we will get DLNA but until then it is missing this vital feature.
