What is their frequency response? What is their wattage? Are these loud enough to hear them a few rooms away? Thanks.
I've bought 5 different sets of portable speakers this past year, and none of them were more powerful than my Macbook Pro's built in speakers. I am trying to gauge what class of speakers these are.... Just a minimalistic "you can listen to your iPod out loud", or "I can hear this around the house as I'm working"?

Do they selected speakers charge your iPod whilst they are plugged in and playing music?
I have a Gear 4 iPod speker but the connection on them has recently broken, as such I am looking to but another one but this time preferably portable ones. I do play music quite a lot and as such it needs to be charging whilst it plays. So, are the speakers hardy and do they charge the iPod whilst it plays music? Thanks :)

Will these give bigger sound from Mac Minis, which I find barely audible?
A friend has a year old Mac mini. Sound from it is very hard to hear. I tried my Mac Pro Speakers, but the plugs don't fit.
