I read the batteries will hold out for about 11 hours. Is this with the speakers powered on the whole time?
Looking for information on how long the batteries will last if they stay powered on.

Are these speakers capable of playing with an ihome, like wireless surround speakers that can be put in and played in multiple rooms?
I am trying to have music played thrughout different rooms at my work. I own a salon that has a few different rooms that right now have no music going to them. I am looking for a iHome speaker that can stay in the main room and then have wireless speakers that can play off the ihome that I can mount into the other rooms. If these are not able to do that does anyone have an idea of which ones are capable for that. Thanks for your time.

What is their frequency response? What is their wattage? Are these loud enough to hear them a few rooms away? Thanks.
I've bought 5 different sets of portable speakers this past year, and none of them were more powerful than my Macbook Pro's built in speakers. I am trying to gauge what class of speakers these are.... Just a minimalistic "you can listen to your iPod out loud", or "I can hear this around the house as I'm working"?
Thanks for your advice,
