Will this bag be able to hold three 1" binders and my macbook pro plus an iPad?

    Yes, I would suggest putting the iPad in the front compartment though because it can get quite tight and snug after a good amount of books go into the Thule. & the Macbook Pro is definitely going to make it tighter, but would definitely fit, it just maybe snug.
