Is this a good fit for 13" macbook air? (2012 model)

Yes, it fits perfectly. It is made for 13" macbook regular, retina and air. so, there is still extra place when I use it with my 13" air, but you can not feel that your computer is loose. I suppose with a wider 13" it will be just tighter.
