Does this case provide any protection for the front of the phone?

I want a case that protects the front of the phone also

    Yes it has a lip that runs around the front of the phone. I'm hoping that will protect from edge impact. when you put the phone face down the lip touches the surface but not the face of the phone.

  • It won't protect the front of the phone, you must have a separate screen protector.
