Do they work via Bluetooth with a macbook pro

    yes, as long as the headphones aren't currently paired with another device.

  • Yes and No. I have the a MacBook Pro with Retina, and I found that the Dr Dre connects OK initially, but if you leave it silent (i.e. not playing any sound at all) for about 30 seconds, the connection will drop and doesn't reconnect unless I switch off the headphone and switch it on again. However, having said that, if you start playing music before it disconnects, it works fine for hours and the connection is stable. This is quite annoying as it would disconnect while I was switching between songs or videos.
