can microsoft office be put onto the ipad?

just wanted to know as i use the windows platform at university and was thinking about using an ipad to use to write documents on the go

    No, at the moment there is no true version of Microsoft Office on the iPad. Microsoft have released a iPhone based version of Onenote, in USA & UK (English only) but that is the only one of the Office suit available.

    You can use the Apple business software (Pages, Keynote, Numbers) on the iPad, though the document compatability is not that robust, so you may see document changes when transferring to another user (PC or Mac)

    Personally I'd pay a bit more and get the Air (if budget allows) or a lower cost light & slim PC laptop

  • Well yes in the sence that you can access Windows via a server on the Ipad. I have an icon on my iPad which takes me to a Windows login screen.
