Does the cpu's heat vent through the keyboard? if so will this cause the machine to overheat with this protector on

Your laptop will not overheat as the vents are out the back of the laptop. I have had an old 2007 mac book and a mac book pro 13 mid 2010 and both do not overheat as the vents come out the back. Hope this helps.
