Can you hook up a modem and netstream to one wireless router and have internet and tv at the same time?
My airport extreme only has one RJ45 input (from modem) so do I need some sort of ethernet switch or something?

The Airport Extreme is itself a switch/router. I believe the port you are referring to on your Airport Extreme is the WAN port, which is specifically designed for the modem. Additional ports exist which then allow you to share the Internet connection among multiple wired (Ethernet) and wireless devices, and you need to connect the Netstream DTT to any one of these ports.
