Can you talk on a call through the speaker system when the iPhone is connected into the auxillary port?

After reading the previous answer, that is does work, I purchased this cable for that very reason. Unfortunately it's not the case with my phone (3G). I am not able to answer my phone and hear through my speakers with this cable.

Yes, you will be able to hear the person thru your car speakers, and talk freely without having the phone on your hand.
