  • yes but you need to run it from a second hard drive. There are 3 or so ways of doing this - second internal hard drive, partition the HDD or the easiest is use a an external drive. I did the last using a LaCIE 1 TB rugged drive, formatted as GUID. Install DW on your HDD then clone the HDD with carbon copy cloner to the LaCIE. Then restart hold down the "alt" key select the LaCIE as a start up then run DW on your HDD (not now mounted). DW will remain your HDD "bootefi" if that annoys you google "bootefi bug disk warrior 4.2" for an easy fix.
