Will this work as a power bank that i can use as a back up in case the battery of my iphone5 runs out especially if i don't have access to a charger?

Will this be a best option for people who are often travelling and needed extra battery life and can't afford to charge the phone from a wall charger?

    No, this adapter will not provide power when not connected to a wall outlet.
