Can this be used with the 11 inch MacBook Air as an SD Card Reader?
Since there is no SD card slot on the 11 inch MacBook Air, I was wondering if this cable can be used with it in order to transfer photos taken on a digital camera.

No, since your MacBook Air doesn't have a lightning port for this adapter to plug into.
